1. To review and examine audited cooperative accounts in order to issue the Commission’s Opinion under subsection 59(2) of the Cooperative Societies Act 1993 (the Act);
2. To conduct audits of cooperative accounts under subsection 60(2) of the Act;
3. To process online applications for dividend approvals under paragraph 57(5)(b) and subsection 57(8) of the Act;
4. To process online applications for honorarium approvals under paragraph 57(5)(c) of the Act;
5. To process online applications for the issuance of bonus shares under Regulation 28 of the Cooperative Regulations 2010 and paragraph 57(1B)(b) of the Act;
6. To process the revaluation of land and/or buildings as fixed assets under paragraph 55(1)(b) of the Act;
7. To grant approval to qualified individuals to audit cooperative accounts online under subsection 61(1) of the Act;
8. To carry out quality reviews of audits conducted by Private Auditors approved under subsection 61(1) of the Act;
9. To carry out quality reviews of audits conducted by State SKM Auditors;
10. To monitor the performance of cooperative account audits (by SKM and private auditors);
11. To prepare guidelines/manuals related to audits and accounting;
12. To monitor the performance of the Commission’s audit fee collections;
13. To manage training for Cooperative Audit Division staff at Headquarters and State level;
14. To manage and monitor the performance of programs related to cooperative account auditing (PKASA and PAKAR);
