The Information Management Division (BPM) was officially established in 2001 following the restructuring of the Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM) as approved by the Public Service Department (JPA) in November 2001.

To plan, develop, coordinate, and regulate the use of ICT, as well as to provide technical ICT support at the SKM Headquarter and its state and regional branches nationwide, in line with the Commission's development policy planning.

• ICT Planning and Development for SKM;
• Coordination of Application System Development;
• Management of SKM’s ICT Network and Security;
• Administration and Management of SKM’s Database Systems;
• Management of SKM’s ICT Training Programs;
• Management of SKM’s ICT Operational Support Services.
